Feetle vs Wordle vs Poople: Which Daily Word Game Fits You?
Quick answer: Wordle is a guessing game: you have six tries to find a hidden five-letter word. Feetle and Poople are word ladders: the target is known (FEET or POOP) and you change a four-letter start word one letter at a time to reach it. Pick Wordle if you like deduction, Feetle or Poople if you like planning a route.

How Wordle works
You guess a five-letter word. Each letter turns green (right letter, right spot), yellow (right letter, wrong spot) or gray (not in the word). You have six guesses to narrow it down. The challenge is information: every guess should rule out as many letters as possible.
How Feetle works
Every day Feetle gives you a new four-letter start word. You change one letter at a time, and every step has to be a real word, until you reach FEET. There's no guess limit, so you can't lose, but each puzzle has a par: the shortest possible path. Matching par is the real win.
LINE → FINE → FIND → FEND → FEED → FEET (par 5)
The challenge is the opposite of Wordle's. You always know where you're going; the hard part is that the obvious move is often a dead end. Of the 1,838 words in Feetle's dictionary, only 9 are one step from FEET (FEEL, FEED, MEET, BEET, FEES, FELT, FEAT, FEST and FRET), so every ladder has to funnel into one of them.
How Poople works
Poople is the game that inspired Feetle, and the rules are the same: four letters, one change per step, real words only. The target is POOP instead of FEET. Because the target words are so different, the two games play differently: FEET's neighbors are common words like FEEL and MEET, while POOP's are rarer, which changes which routes work.
Which one is hardest?
It depends on the day. Wordle's difficulty comes from rare letters and tricky patterns (think words with double letters). A word ladder's difficulty comes from how far the start word sits from the target. In Feetle, daily par ranges from 4 to 8 steps; about four in ten puzzles have a par of 5. A par-7 or par-8 day usually needs at least one move that takes you away from FEET before you can get closer.
If you've never played a word ladder, expect your first few to take longer than Wordle. Once you learn the common "bridge" words, most days take about two minutes.
Play all three every morning
They don't compete for the same skill, so they work well as a set: Wordle for deduction, then Feetle and Poople for route-finding. All three are free, run in a browser, and need no account. Feetle and Poople even reset at the same moment.
